In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has changed the way companies are doing business, PTC is offering free access to Vuforia Chalk through the duration of the crisis to help companies maintain business continuity while protecting their workforce and their customers. Customers will be able to request licenses for Vuforia Chalk and receive free access for an initial term ending June 30th. PTC will monitor guidance from the CDC to determine whether any extension of the term is warranted. All free access licenses will be Host licenses which have all of the same capabilities of users with some additional functionality.
Customers can request access here and their licenses will be provisioned.
The product is exactly the same as the paid Vuforia Chalk product. Support is handled differently.
In addition, customers can access a self-help page and will receive a series of emails from Customer Success to help them get started with the tool.
Support for this offering will be solely through the public Chalk Community page (https://community.ptc.com/t5/Vuforia-Chalk/bd-p/chalk) while paid subscriptions can receive one on one Tech Support. The public Chalk Community is staffed by PTC technical resources who will answer all questions in the public forum within 24 hours.
